Super Tycoon helps Punters win big!

Race 8

Punters rejoiced here. Despite the plunge on McCreery ($2.90 into $2.30) following a succession of Waller winners, Super Tycoon was backed heavily.  There were two bets of $2,000 e/w on him at $7.00 and plenty of smaller bets. And he looked very comfortable racing clear along the inside to win. McCreey was unplaced. Big win for Punters.

Race 9

Despite the winner being big odds ($26 into $21) the spoils were shared here.  Magnajoy sat outside the leader, dictated the tempo and was too strong to the line. Six horses were backed and heavily and firmed. One large bet of $2,000 on Magnajoy at $29 resulted in a big win for one Punter and meant the book was all square.

Race 3

A big result for the book as relatively unwanted Derryn came home like a train for a very good win.  Nasdex was well backed ($10,000 in 3 bets wagered on him from $7 into $3.60) all went to the book as did the Crafty Cop money. Favourite punters came undone. Crafty Cop opened at $2.70 and blew to $4.40, despite multiple $2,000 bets…and was unplaced.

Race 8

The boom fell off Wall Street Wolf and punters were hurt as a result. He started $2.70 favourite following his 8 length win last start and several bets totaling over $10,000 at $2.90 were wagered on him. But he plodded home for 5th and it was left to $10 chance Divine Mr Artie who finished too well. Very small bets were written against him.
